We’ve received extensive expert training on how to prepare a building for Rhino Shield and also how to apply the product correctly. We’re not able to offer such an extensive product warranty without assurance that preparation and installation will be done correctly.
Rhino Shield is designed for exterior walls only. However, we do have an interior ceramic wall system called Nature’s Cote that is perfect for interior needs. We also offer a separate product called Super Shield for roof coating applications.

Rhino Shield must be applied to wood that is in acceptable condition. We will repair or patch wood if possible but never to the point where we feel it will cause the system to fail over time. If we determine any wood must be replaced, we’ll highlight problem areas needing replacement wood and provide a cost recovery quote for wood replacement as part of the estimation process.
Rhino Shield will naturally fill small stucco cracks (1/16″ or smaller) using the two-step process. Larger cracks may require the application of a stucco patch before applying the Rhino Shield system. Once applied, Rhino Shield will help reduce future cracking due to the bonding properties of the adhesive primer and the ceramic finish.
Yes! The Rhino Shield line of products offers a clear finish option. Rhino-Clear is a beautiful, long-lasting clear coat sealer. This copolymer formula rejuvenates old surfaces, protects and waterproofs. Rhino-Clear prevents water intrusion by sheeting and sealing off water, thus reducing the environment for mold, mildew, and algae formation. There is a five year warranty on Rhino-Clear.
No, Rhino Shield dealers are independent businesses with exclusive territories to market and install Rhino Shield. However, all dealers have been trained and certified by Rhino Shield Corporate as fully authorized to install Rhino Shield products.
